Professors starting from Web 2.0

Professors increasingly start their digital work with Web 2.0 media tools. This Campus Technology article gives a mixture of examples, emphasizing tools which enable reproductions of aspects of real life, such as Second Life.

One professor offers an intriguing argument about the multiplicity of tools and services. Darren Cambridge argues that students use different web services to develop different aspects of their identities, leading to what he calls symphonic selves.
